The spirit week themes this year were ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy,’ ‘Barbie,’’ Thrift Shop – Mismatch day,’ ‘Disney Day,’ and ‘We are the Champions’ blue and gold day. Both students and staff participated.
“One of our goals was to try to make it easy for kids to dress up, so they didn’t have to go out and buy a bunch of new things,” senior cheer coach Grace Fletcher said.
“We all ended up liking the “We’ve Got the Beat” theme, and from there we decided that we would pick different days that went with the theme,” Fletcher said.
“I was just impressed with overall how much participation there was throughout the whole student body every day. Not just at the high school either, the middle schools, Madison and Adams, had the same spirit week themes that we did,” Fletcher said.
