In too Depp?

Should Johnny Depp still be acting after these allegations?

These are no the only time Johnny Depp has been involved with the law.
In April of 2016, Depp was charged with assault after attacking Gregg Brooks. According to reports Depp screamed: “Who the [heck] are you? You have no right to tell me what to do,” when told to do one more shot.
In 2017, he filed a lawsuit agaist his lawyer to avoid paying his bill. He had never signed a contract, as is the usual with many stars.

It was Oscar Wilde who said “We are all in the gutter… but some of us are looking at the stars.” What are we to do then when our stars are in the gutter with us?
John (Johnny) Christopher Depp II is one of the most acclaimed actors of his time. His roles as Edward Scissorhands, Rango, and Captain Jack Sparrow are truly timeless. In the hyper-political atmosphere we live in now, there comes a time in your career when you cannot get away with what you once did.
It seems like every day celebrities are being exposed for their illegal actions, and it is about time Depp’s limelight illuminated his. After divorcing Amber Heard, she is now claiming he was abusive in many ways. She filed a restraining order against Depp stating: “During our entire relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me… I endured excessive emotional, verbal, and physical abuse from Johnny, which included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assault to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him.” His defense? He claims she is simply trying to “extend her 15 minutes of fame.” Seems awfully familiar to the situation before the #MeToo campaign.
Since Harvey Weinstein was exposed to the world as the disgusting man he is in 2017, Hollywood has made some big changes. Director James Gunn was fired immediately from “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” when Disney found a series of off vulgar tweets made 7 years ago. Jeffrey Tambor was fired from the Netflix show “Transparent” for exploding at the cast and director. Why should Depp be given a pass for his abusive behavior? People who have done less have received far more in return.
Depp is far past his prime and is becoming a nuisance to others. Simply put, he refuses to live in the real world with its consequences. We need to show him that his actions are completely unacceptable. Boycott “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald.” Do not rent any of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. If Hollywood refuses to stop him, then we should. He deserves justice and until he decides to accept the results of his actions, he should be treated like the other celebrities in his position: shunned and jobless.
