The varsity basketball players that you might know from your class, the hallways, or just throughout the community are starting their basketball season. If you are planning on cheering them on this sports season you might want to know about their skills. To give you guys a realization of how good our team is we compared them to the best of the best. To compare our varsity players to NBA players we took some of our key players and compared not their actual stats just because the professional players would be a lot better but instead we compared their attitude, play style, and what positions we play.

Will Phillips = Jeremy Lin

• They both play point guard, they both are huge leaders to the team, and they both show people what they can do with actions but not with words.   

Kade Wroot = Steve Adams

• They are both bigger players on the team and they both play center.  

Alec Sawyer = Tony Parker

• They are both smart on and off the court, They both used to or are still into soccer, and they both have the same playing style.

Comparing our varsity players to professional players gives us an idea of how good our players are, what their play style is like, and what attitude to they bring to the team. They are obviously not on the same level skill wise but knowing that some of them have the same attributes as our guys gives us an understanding if are guys good or not.
