Celebra la vida-celebrate life
On Oct. 25, Argetinian pop artist, Emir Sensini, performed at North Platte High School. 15 area schools were present. “It’s a pleasure to give a message of inspiration about my life to the students,” Sensini said. “I hope it encourages people to learn Spanish,” Junior Jamon Davis said. Area schools say they look forward to the concert and are sad that it’s over for this year.
Sensini tours with the Justo Lamas Group. The group is an Argentinian band that tours the United States singing for high school students and inpiring them to learn Spanish. Before the group existed, Justo Lamas released his first album in Argentina. A traveling Spanish teacher from the United States bought his CD and later asked him to perform at their school. This is where the journey began.

I actually had the chance to go to this concert, but sadly I did not. I had homework to do so I thought this would be a good time to catch up. It was a good article though, can’t complain.
