Student council members, Olivia Nicholson, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and Adam Engel are accepting a check for $1,000 from Sodexo, represented by Larry Young and Stephanie McConnell. Young said, “After each week the [point] totals were submitted to Sodexo and each week all of the participating Sodexo school districts in the United States were ranked in three categories: snack and beverages, combo meals, and total points.” North Platte High School finished in the Top 26 and 13th in overall total points. The top 26 High Schools each received a $1,000 Prize. The NPHS check was presented to the NPHS Student Council and will be used for four $250 leadership scholarships for the 2016 graduating seniors.
