Bulldog football went against Lincoln Northeast for the homecoming game on the night of Oct. 6, with the final score of 75-22.
“Our plan was to kick the ball off, and that’s what we did,” Head Coach Kurt Altig said. With the biggest win of the season the Bulldogs left the game accomplished.
Last year, Bulldog football went against Omaha Westside which is seen as the biggest competitor for the team. This seemed to prepare them for a win of this caliber.
The 2023 homecoming game was the highest varsity win since at least the 2004-05 season.
The Bulldogs went into the game with a standard football mindset of wanting to win, and they did, ending their regular season on a high note.
