John Byrn is one of the new school administration members coming for the 2022-23 school year.

Byrn has 17 years of experience and sees North Platte as his “home,” since it is where his family is.

The upcoming seniors should also be able to recognize Byrn since he was an administrator while they were freshmen.

Byrn’s favorite part of working in a school environment are the relationships he makes. “I am a relationship kind of person.”

Byrn is a firm believer in the golden rule: “‘treat people how you want to be treated’ is how I have always done things,” he said.

Byrn is also impressed with the job done by the principals leaving this year. “We have a great team,” he said. “They did a great job.”
