North Platte High School - Class of 2017

Being part of the school newspaper staff has taught me the importance of communication and teamwork to achieve a common goal.  Being a journalist has shown me the incredible impact a good story can have. I have learned the power of using my voice, building professional relationships, and using writing to connect with my peers, my community, and my world.

Favorite school subject: English

Favorite quote: "Life is the dancer and you are the dance." -Eckhart Tolle

Fun Fact: The water is my second home (sometimes I even like to pretend I'm a mermaid).
