Best Wishes
For the second year in a row, North Platte High School’s Student Council raised more money than any other school in the state. Vice-president Adam Engel said NPHS was presented the Top Fundraiser award by the Make-A-Wish foundation at the State Student Council convention in Plattsmouth, Nebraska on October 26. He said this past year, they contributed approximately $5700 to the charity– about $3000 more than any other school. Engel said, “We can basically grant two wishes based on the amount of money we raised.” The senior said the school’s ongoing success is a result of the students and community’s efforts to help make a difference.
