Four years of FaceTime, Skype calls, a seven hour time difference, and 4,584 miles in between hasn’t stopped Hannah Huebner and boyfriend Amar Bajroic from being happy and in love.

“I didn’t see it going into anything, but I couldn’t stop texting him, and he couldn’t stop texting me,” said Huebner.

Huebner grew up in North Platte and started studying in Gothenburg, Sweden where she met Bajroic. “We didn’t call it dating at first,” said Huebner. “After I convinced my parents to let their 19-year-old daughter go to Paris with a guy from another country, it kind of became official.

One thing that keeps Huebner and Bajroic together is their Spotify playlist that’s in chronological order of their relationship. Right now, that playlist has hit over 420 songs. “It’s something we can both add onto or change,” she said. “It’s also public, so anyone can go listen to our love story.”

With the holidays being the last time Huebner and Bajroic saw each other Huebners went back to Chicago and Bajroic to Sweden.
