Making a big splash in Hastings
North Platte High School divers rank at first meet
All divers who competed in the first meet of the season placed at the Hastings Swim & Dive Invitational on Dec. 2. Freshman Jonathan Brouillette made a splash by ranking 3rd in the boys’ division in his first-ever competition. “I was pleasantly surprised,” he said. “I’ve been doing flips for a long time, so I was excited to turn them into dives.” Senior Miles Sweeney came in 4th in the boys’ category, and junior Riley Smith placed 6th amongst the girls.
