Worse high school memory? Hmmm, to quote Dickens, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”. High school can be an awesome experience but unfortunately due to lack of social skills experience and lack of confidence it can be difficult. Don’t get me wrong I had a “great” time in high school much to the chagrin of my instructors but the only regret I have is that I could have been nicer to everyone and not just to those I thought were cool.
Who was my high school crush? Once again a quote comes to mind from Finian’s Rainbow. “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.” High school is so fickle and thus so are relationships. My forever crush is my wife and we will be celebrating 34 years of marriage this Saturday February 6th.
Rec center or Cody Pool? Unfortunately since I live in Tryon I lack the knowledge to answer this question.
Fun Fact: Never underestimate there your path will lead you. When I graduated from high school I only went to college because my mother wanted me to. I actually wanted to be a mechanic or paint cars. I had just finished restoring a ‘65 Mustang.
