The North Platte High School Library had a new makeover over the summer. The library got a new
wrap installed over the summer to bring the space closer together. “ It compliments our new furniture
and shows our bulldog pride,” said Jami Tatman. There are many things students can do in the library.
Students and teachers can go into the library and check out books and get hooked up with Sora. Sora is
an online library where students and teachers can access e-books and audiobooks. You can request new
titles for books, study, work on projects, take a brain break, enjoy maker space, print, check out head-
phones, and get tech help for all your tech problems. In addition to the new wrap added to the library,
anyone can check the new titles they received over the summer and their reading challenge for the new
school year. Some maker space highlights include designing something on the 3d printer, diamond art,
Perler beads, bracelets, sew your own bookmark, and so many other crafts. Along with crafts, there are
puzzles, card games, and bored games, and Ozo bots.
