North Platte gets a new theater after over a year

Bishop Brown, the general manager for The Golden Ticket, says that they will provide a better experience than AMC did with restaurant quality food, and easier management. “It will be easier to get things done of course with any small business there are unique obstacles to go through, you got to use your hands a lot more because they’re not that big.”
“As you can not get actual food like a steak that’s a no, but you can get a variety of food in a restaurant size menu.”
AMC tickets were expensive and so was there food but Brown claims that they offer a better experience with little price increase. “We are technically more expensive than the AMC was, but they are offering more than AMC was offering: reclining seats, restaurant quality food, restaurant size menu, a better sound system, better screens, and it has a better quality with a minor increase in cost.
Overall, The Golden Ticket is wanting a better overall experience when watching movies in North Platte. “We’re all very passionate about the movie going experience and the rise of streaming services have put a damper on that for some people, but we want to bring the best experience we possibly can,” Brown said.
Brown says that there are many reasons the smaller theater is better. “Unlike AMC who is the Biggest movie theater company on the planet, While [The Golden Ticket is] only 13 movie theaters strong, he says.There is a lot less management so a lot less hoops to jump through unlike AMC.”
Brown was the manager at AMC when they shut down for COVID, then The Golden Ticket started swooping up theaters and called him to hire him to go back and be the general manager.
